This second gizmo is a Rhode Gear mirror. It's bracket is shaped to go over a drop bar brake lever body/hood. There was a velcro strap that wrapped around the lever body and bracket holding it together. many found that this added bulk to the LH lever was not comfy and this mirror didn't sell well in the shops i worked in.
