Interesting, my mom got it from a LBS but the owner died and the shop closed so there is no local person to ask unfortunately. When I tried to search the web for it it kept giving me a surly pacer bike which lead me to believe that surly had bought "Pacer". But there is no information about a frame with Pacer on the web that I could find. By house brand I'm assuming you mean its just a re-branded frame? I'm just wondering if the frame is worth anything, might have a jewel here .
