Yes. I did forget about that when I stopped to shoot the video, but the derailleur was stuck in the bigger sprocket.

Maybe it was indeed a bit of gunk that kept it from sliding all the way and move the chain to the smaller sprocket. 'tis strange, because, although it was raining, I was riding in the city.

I'll update the thread later if that happens again.
