I said Hi as I went by, the women in the group said Hi back. The guy that came up along side said howdie in a snobbish tone then faded back, I did say hi back to him. Easy to recognize genuine niceness, and this wasn't it. I am looking for info so I don't offend anyone. If I should have passed differently or announce that I was coming by, hope to pick up a few pointers, like that, before I need it. I would like to be a courteous cyclist.
