Sorry. I can see how my post was misleading. My current tires are Specialized Roubaix Endurant Pro or something like that. Came with the bike. The GP-4000's are the on-deck replacements. The Spesh tires don't appear to have wear dots... or maybe I'm already through them, lol. I'll swap when I see cords or other serious imminent issues.... or have a catastrophic failure...

Partly, it's because it's mid-summer. Hot asphalt really wears tires, car or bike. I hate to put new tires on right now if I can avoid it. I've run some bald-ass tires on my truck before for a summer for just that reason. It's not like traction is a problem.
