I eat often. Snack on fruit. Stay away (mostly) from alcohol.
I get obsessive about what, and when I eat. I use a tracker to plan my day.
I do not starve myself during workouts. This is very important, as planing eating around riding is a needed skill to develop.
Recognize that weight loss is not a goal, but a life long endeavor. Any goals you have should be recognized as short term, and be made in the context of an overall life plan.
