Most people, I believe, who "***** about Christians" are not *****ing about the average Christian but, rather, about Mr. Christian Right who hates gays and baby killers, and who I belive the average Christian does not support either. I think that distinction is clear.
I think the people who attack Christians across the board are also in a tiny minority.
I'll agree it's the most visible portion of Christianity, but one can easily counter that by saying that militant jihadist Muslims are the visible minority of their faith. It's the ones with the big mouths who get the attention, while the people actually making a positive differenece are so under the radar people aren't even aware of their existence. In my experience, bashing Christians is the cool-hip-trendy thing to do among lefty-bikey-etc. folks. I'm just sick of the comments I hear ALL THE TIME. Christian jokes are the new n!gger joke. **** that!
