I'm still a work in progress with quite a ways to go but I think I can contribute to this thread now
I started focusing on weight loss in November of last year after being told by my doctor that I was pre-diabetic. I started riding in April of this year after a recommendation from my doctor. Since November I'm down 75 pounds total and 24 of those came off since I started riding.
