As you probably know, that budget isn't going to allow for much. If you're out of shape and this is your first step at fitness these cheaper bikes may do the trick for a while. Understand that once you're in shape or ready to start any degree of serious riding, they're not gonna cut it. But as a truly entry level bike with the sole purpose of light fitness then they may pan out. If you find your cycling interest begins to increase, do yourself a favor and test ride a regular dedicated roadbike so that you can make a good decision when it's upgrade time!
