No, not wrong. Just my preference to not have a bike dedicated to the aero position and non group ride use. The vast majority of my customers do the vast amount of their riding (some call it training) in non competitive rides, often in clubs or groups. Until their event (race) results become their prime motivation I find an all purpose road bike to be a far better tool. I suspect you are one of the few % who really need that small added advantage to separate themselves from the really fit but not specific riders. good luck finding your sweet spot. Andy.
