and I'd ride and from the station. Every weekend, I'll be leaving work at 5pm every Friday and taking the train down to London and leaving for back up North at 6pm on Monday morning

then I can get some more rides in over the week
Now I don't ride trains and I've never tried a folding bike, but I've always imagined that ... a folding bike is the only way to go, train or bus, or if you frequent some shops along the way. You have the SS already in England right? So you need a folding bike. I wonder if you can get that fitted with a dynamo
