I don't normally get into frilly, unnecessarily decorative stuff but lugs are the exception. The skill and craftsmanship of a beautiful lug is art converging with function in the most beautiful, functional way possible. Riding a bike that was made with such skill is just shy of a religious experience.

The paint on that Colnago though, that is another matter. As much as I love and covet Italian steel, the paint schemes on some of them make me cringe.
That paint is hideous, and it distracts from anything else. The nicest fancy pressed lugs I've ever seen were on an Ephgrave.
