The COLNAGO in the OP as well as the other examples shared are art. And maybe the of highest level of art as some of these works are also technically fine machines as well as artful creations. I can't help but wonder at these machines. Their beauty isn't contemporary.... and it isn't timeless ether. Those bicycles represent tends and the fashion (albeit cycling fashion) of their day.

I think to fully appreciate these bicycle beauties would require a greater cycling education than I have achieved. But I know they are beautiful.
