Mountain bike, 25+ years old, not surprised that it's been re-painted, I've had 3 bikes which were all around 15 years old re-painted (powdered) as time takes it's toll on the paint work. Add to that, it's an MTB, if ridden as an MTB, the idea that it has stock parts after a few months, let alone 25 years is un-realistic, stuff wears out, and gets broken in use.
