Hey there dear bike lover!
I'm in a little dillema here. I ride a nice ALAN from 83, singlespeedized (not fixed). I use it every day to commute but also to train, it rides very smoothly and it's mega light, just 8Kg. The thing is, i don't have much budget and i would like to replace the ranckset, because it's slightly croocked and because i want a Campi. I have on my bike late 90' Veloce brakes, which i know are low end but i do like them very much, the look nice and they brake very good.

So i found a couple of cranksets on the net, quite cheap but i don't know whats more addecuated, to go for the old 80' look of the Record, with the nice details, logo engraved, etc etc, OR the exact matching Veloce crankset for my brakes, which i also found online and for just 40€.
What would you guys do? Go for the nic look of the old one or a nice matching group?
