Man dies from injuries from bicycle accident

TROY — A Dayton man died from injuries he sustained from a collision with another cyclist on the bike path in Troy on Aug. 17.

David Perilman, 60, of Dayton, passed away on Sept. 20 from the brain injuries he sustained after colliding with another cyclist on the bike path last month.

Authorities said both men were wearing helmets and safety gear and no alcohol or drugs were involved.
