Just got a nice pair of Dia Compe Gran Compe aero brake levers won off eBay. Looking them over, and I notice that the hole for the brake cable looks awfully big... Some searching later and I know I'm missing a part.
My question is this: the hole in the lever body is threaded, but I keep reading people mention a bullet shaped cable stop. Did these levers use a different stop that threaded in? There is a chamfer above the threaded part, so maybe it's compatible with multiple types? I am contacting the seller to see if they have the part, but already thinking of alternatives like drilling out a bolt of the appropriate size. This is my first encounter with aero cable routing where the brake lever only works the brakes... I kinda skipped straight from outside cable routing to ergo shifters before this.
