It's a re-paint by me. A 1940 model as the fillit brazing joints(a Schwinn trade mark)are not brazed but steel welded and leaded.I painted the chrome parts as not to have the expense of re-chroming. As for as the DD hub it's not the conversion unite but the DD hub (first out in 1938)--the larger Schwinn books show that any option ordered for the paramount frame could also be ordered on the new world frame. And yes some paramount's were ordered with coaster brakes. and the DD hub is correct for this bike.The rims on this bike were chrome but I re-painted dark blue along with the front Schwinn large flange hub.Tire size is 26X1.375(firestone tires)
