Don't disagree that the Curl seems more a direct copy of the non- patent/design copyright Brompton. Just saying that the fold characteristics of the Tyrell (huge fan, BTW) are more than similar to the Birdy.

And considering such a comparison, I don't fault Dahon for producing a Brompton clone any more than I fault Tyrell for appropriating B&M fold characteristics. Part of the game.

I only have issue with those who take issue with the Dahon/Brompton comparison and who post the Tyrell design, including an original Birdy in the background, as an example of supposedly original design...
