That is my experience with a 7410 (double). A tricolor crankset on the DA bb hit the chainstays.
I had the opposite problem. My current bottom is a Tange is 109, which worked fine with a Shimano Sante crank. However, there wasn't enough clearance for a DA 7400 crank.

mcours2006 Velobase link that he posted above suggests that the spindle length is 112mm, but there wasn't any info on whether it was asymmetrical or not.
