I am gaa-gaa for Kvale's work, and gomango is both very fortunate and unforgivably selfish to have two. :^]

"Less is more" encapsulates it perfectly. You could almost overlook the handwork, but the lugs are so perfectly thinned, and the lines so fluid, that your eyes and brain are magnetically pulled in and engaged. His frames are instantly recognizable without decals, and you won't see his name or initials or any other clue engraved or stamped into seatstay plugs or lugs. The whole thing is him.

I can't recall ever seeing a fillet-brazed Kvale. I wonder if he ever did one, and what it would look like.
