Yeh this time of year I guess it just doesn't get hot enough but I did not know that the high heat cures the paint. Great information.
Yeah, that's always the way it goes. Last summer I painted my Holdsworth, brushing on Rustoleum and between coats letting it bake in a solar oven. Just a wooden box with a plexiglass lid, painted black inside; but in direct sun it got up to 250 F every afternoon for a couple weeks and really cured. That was pretty good, and I have high hopes for that paint. We shall see!
I don't know how I'm going to bake this one, the sun isn't hot enough this time of year and it won't fit in the kitchen oven.
