No one can prove there is global warming, global cooling or climate change taking place right now. Furthermore, even if you could prove it, no one can prove that human activity is the cause of it. Even if you could prove human activity is the cause of climate change, no one can prove that anything meaningful can be done to change it. This is how science works. Things are not proven, because they cannot be proven. They can be disproven. We go with what the body of knowledge points to, not stuff that has been proven. Your distrust for science appears to be based somewhat on your lack of knowledge of what exactly science is.
