I have a Surly Pacer with 9 speed Ultegra (eBay pieced together). Its funny, but I used to ride BMX. Then I got a track bike for commuting to work a few years ago. Then I built a road bike when my commute increased. Now I switch off between the fixed and geared and have just as much fun on both. Bikes are fun.
