My rim strips don't snap into place all wonky. I start at the valve hole. I have a screwdriver whose shaft exactly fits the valve hole. I insert the shaft through the hole in the rim strip, then through the rim and work the rim strip onto the rim finishing on the side opposite the valve hole. Works every time
The screwdriver I use is a # 2 Robertson, very common in Canada, rare elsewhere
Never heard of Robertson. Was he a cousin of Phillips? What does it looks like?
