I liked the Xtracycle and it was certainly cool and fun to put it on a bike. However, I found that for me my Bob trailer works just as well and the trailer is removable. Also, I think that Xtracycles have much more utility for people living an urban lifestyle and I live out in the suburbs and since my commute to work is 10 miles each way, I prefer something a little lighter and more nimble. I think for urban cyclists it is much more important to have the cargo capacity because you wouldn't use a car very often or might not even own a car. But I have 4 kids out in the suburbs and even an Xtracycle can't carry enough groceries to feed my family. We go through over a gallon of milk per day.

So now I'm trying to unload the Xtracycle. And as with all used stuff, I'm going to have to take a loss on it. Oh well, it was a fun build.
