You could probably get the whole saddle wet and get it all to darken to the same color, but I won't recommend that. Every time you get it wet, it will dry a little harder.
Reminds me of an old Lenny Bruce routine, where a guy goes to a dry cleaner with a suede jacket that has a snot stain on it.
"Sorry. You can't get snot stains out of suede."
"Well, what do I do then?"
"Just snot all over the whole thing."
