I have the old A3s with the three velcro strap closure; love 'em. Extremely rigid, and the heat molding fitting really got them perfectly fitted for me. I also like the velcro straps because they're fast, secure, and if I'm sitting cross-legged on the ground for a break, I can do so comfortably without a ratcheting buckle biting into the side of my foot (a problem I have with my other shoes). I also like to imagine they're more aero than the models with the buckles hanging out there.
Materials and finish quality is good, and durability has been good (3 years now).
