Check out the Sheldon Brown article about square bb taper. There are two primary tapers, JIS and ISO. Then there is oddball stuff. ISO is what Campagnolo cranks expect. From the Brown site:

"If you install an ISO crank on a J.I.S. spindle, it will sit about 4.5 mm farther out than it would on an ISO spindle of the same length."

Some Campagnolo cranks expect symmetric axles and others don't. So, not all 102mm (for example) Campagnolo axles are identical.

Wiggle sells "Tifosi Campagnolo fit bottom bracket[s]" in BSA 102mm, 111mm, and 115mm. No experience here and it is an assumption to infer that "Camnpagnolo fit" means "ISO." Also, to infer anything about how the length is divided between right and left.

Mr. Orange also has an article about BBs which says pretty much the same thing.
