datlas, that "disaster" case from earlier today supposedly has Cushing's disease. I don't know because I didn't get that part of the medical record, still working on getting it sent. The internist who is treating the dog is treating with flaxseed and melatonin. Seems kind of quacky to me. I'm gonna have to ask internal med about that one. Trilostane is the typical treatment for dogs. Interesting IM factoid: Cushing's disease is super common in dogs.
