You know I applied for a job earlier this year in San Diego and I got four different phone interviews and they strung me along for five weeks before they turned me down. Fortunately I found something here that I wanted more but maybe hirers in SD feel like this is what they are supposed to do to out-of-towners because of the job market.
That does suck.
But I'd rather that happen then get hired, spend $300 on required equipment, to have your start date pushed back a month to find out they aren't going to need you after all. That's the bull**** I'm dealing with right now. I have two interviews lined up for this week at least.
