Why does it say labeled size 35 if they're supposed to be 38c tires? Wondering if the listing is mislabeled or there's something about tire sizing I'm not clear on.

The tire is described as having a 1mm layer of extra puncture protection in the tread, which already looks thick. Perhaps the tire is truly 35mm wide, but the height is more like that of a 38mm, and they want to label it as the latter to make sure there will be enough clearance for the tire.

You aren't likely to notice an actual difference in riding between a 35mm and 38mm tire, so I would just buy something that fits and not let it bother you.
