Jarrett: I'm definitely with you. I noticed a difference right away. I know my mavics are known for having high spoke tension too which I think adds to the harshness. I'm hoping my experience ends up being similar to yours.
Right now I'm on 25c tires and I'm going to switch to 28c tubeless when these tires are worn.
I think I'm well set on velocity a23 rims laced 32 spokes onto ultegra hubs from velomine. There's someone interested in purchasing my Mavics too so it should be a wash. Very much looking forward to the better ride of the velocity set.
