I have a Gerber cyclocross bike from about 1978 that is in need of a new coat of paint. The decal on the head tube is quite detailed and interesting, but part of it is missing. The photo attached shows the decal I am referring to - this one is not from my bike.

I have not been able to find a replacement from the online providers I know of (cyclomondo) and the cost of having a new one drawn up by the frame painter is about $600 - which is not much less than I paid for the whole bike.

Does anyone have ideas on where I might be able to source a decal, a good photo of one, or even a drawing of one? I have contacted the store in Switzerland that sold the bike, and also been in touch with the Swiss Sports Museum with no luck so far. I have found that the shield part in the middle is the Gerber family crest. But the rest I can't find at this stage.

It's not a common bike, so I'm not expecting success, but any light anybody can shed would be greatly appreciated.
