My buddy measured his dad's van, and the entrance to the underground parking garage. 4" of clearance. What he forgot to take into account was the ramp angle going down and the garage floor being level. Halfway through the opening and the wheelbase took care of that 4" and then some, buckling the roof down in the middle. The van looked like a banana. Totalled.
