Marzocchi Z.2 flex fix?

I have a '98 Marzocchi Z.2 BAM, which I've heard described as a stiff fork with great tracking. It is a rim brake model. I have noticed though, that it washes out on downhill corners. I can stand in front of the bike, clamping the wheel between my knees, and twist the bars probably 10 degrees. The wheel doesn't appear to twist, only the fork. I am using a steel XT skewer. Does this just need its bolts torqued, new bushings, or maybe something else? Thanks.
