I think part of the problem with installing a throttle on my bars is that they are not standard drop bars. They are "ergonomic" bars that are made of some wider tubing and they are flatter than they are round on the tops. The throttle looks like it is intended for strictly round tubing. The quick fix was to add a this extra accessory bar to the handlebar or stem. I didn't want it. It didn't look clean. I've had one of these extra accessory bars before... it was flimsy. I've put nearly 100 miles on the bike now. I haven't had any need for the throttle. If you're in need of speed and power, just put it into level 4 assist and put just a little pressure on the pedal... you're gone!

For me, the only thing on the bar is the console. I have a garmin 200 on the stem. I'll need to post a picture.
