Yep, that ^ was the thread, good searching-fu! 2007 so a bit farther back in time. Too bad the pics were lost but you can gather from the discussion that it was lavender color and had the same crankset as the OP's. Seem there were sightings of this brand in Virginia and West Virginia so could be the location of the importer.
