I also think the price is way too high for a bike that old (last made in 2003 so, as noted, it's at least 12 years old) with mid-line components and a frame of unknown quality and condition.
The make and model are unfamiliar to me also but a Google search turned up the information that the parent company was Australian (the frames were made in Asia) and has been out of business for years so there is no support or documentation available. Unless you can get a very large price concession, I'd keep looking.
