Get a rain bike! Now that I have one, I could never go back to being without one. With the right gear (by which I mean both bike and clothes), commuting in quote-unquote bad weather is actually wonderful (the gear transforms the experience such that the weather ceases to be "bad"- just wet), and something I enjoy a lot.
