Saw this on my local CL, it was an obvious Hybrid, couldn't make out the brand but he had it listed for 10 bucks and it had a 3 piece crank so i knew i couldn't lose, cheap 700c x 35 rims are worth more than that.

scrambled over to there after work and took a look at it, needs new shifters/brakes, seatpost, seat, cables, derailleurs look ok and so do the tires. going to swap the handle bar for a rise bar and pull it more into a the traditional hybrid. its an tange straight gauge. Mt Shasta i believe was built by GT as a budget brand. should build up nice for somebody. not sure its a keeper though. After speaking to the guy about what my purposes for it he told me just to take it and not worry about it, he wanted to make sure it was going to be used and not scrapped. soo Free is always a steel for me!
