Yeah, I really don't understand the reasoning behind some of these shipping carriers methods -- it just doesnt make sense. I recently had ordered a few things from Merlin Cycles in the UK -- 8-10 biz day shipping. The package got to SF within a few days but then took a week to actually get it in my hands. So weird
Customs. Clearing times vary a lot. I had a package take 7 days to clear customs in LA once. A month later I ordered more of the same thing from the same vendor and it cleared customs within hours of arrival. Koo koo.
