Thanks, all. It seems that the specs haven't changed from 2006 to present and the XL Bad Boy, while not identical in all dimensions, is indeed pretty much as big as the Jumbo Quick.

Hadn't considered the gearing questions and no doubt my riding is more suited to the Quick than the BB. On reflection, I'd just as soon pass on the front suspension, too.

"However, if the Quick rides too big a different stem and seat adjustment could get you a better fit. And cost a lot less."

Already done so, and cockpit is actually just fine. Standover, while not the be-all and end-all, is a bit, um, precarious. I can stand over it without tiptoeing, but just barely. One of these days I'm going to leap down in a hurry with my knees flexed and...

My new target is a Quick 3, 2012 or earlier in XL. Or maybe a pre-20 speed 7.5 FX
