Hey guys, Iīm new in this forum, it looks like you know a lot of bikes. This is my dilemma!

Iīm looking to buy a new bike in the next few days. I live in South America - Perú and my budget is not that big ($700 aprox.)

Previously I owned a mountain bike with front and rear suspension. But now I want something fast! I live in Lima City which could be equivalent to NYC but with bumpy roads and potholes everywhere. LOL.

I got this options:

Almost new Jamis Endura Sport 2012: Carbon fiver frame. Love the light weight and the looks.

Trek DS 8.3 Hybrid Bike

MtB in general could be a Marlin or whatever

I like going fast and do an occasional jump between sidewalks and roads. So the bike dealer told me that if I jump with the Road bike or the Hybrid bike (ds 8.3) I will destroy the rim or the wheel itself. They recommend a Mtb but i donīt like the width of the tires lol. I donīt jump all day long. I just jump when itīs completely necessary, like when there are people walking or something.
What bike do you recommend?


Tomorrow Iīll go to Specialized store but I think the prices higher than my wallet.
