I mean, he's kinda got a point though...
I don't know about the rest of the country, but in the south there were plenty troops that were like the klansmen youth brigade. New Orleans was on the forefront of the civil rights movement so we had a lot of integrated troops, and at the jamborees there were some heated encounters. No doubt there are still remnants in place.
BTW never made it past 1st Class due to apathy.
