This time I routed the shift cables through the opposite-side cable stops to remove one housing crossing in front. Now they cross under the downtube, and it's fine -- the rear cable just barely grazes the downtube, no added friction, and I'm not worried about wearing away paint.
Thats the weirdest shifter ive ever seen, is that a homebrew friction "brifter"
