Thanks for asking! It's from Retroshift, which changed their name to Gevenalle (dutch for I think "give it all"). It was designed for cyclocross, it's lighter, cheaper, and more durable/realiable than dura-ace brifters. It should work great with a vintage bike. Here's my review
