Just a quick update on the Bern Allston. I have been using it for ten days now and absolutely love it. It is very comfortable and the headband prevents any sweat from running into my eyes or my sunglasses. It has been in the mid to upper 90's most of the past week with temps recorded on the road with my bicycle computer reaching into the low 100's and I have no issues with it being too hot. Hot is hot, the helmet hasn't added to it.

I feel more air actually blowing on the top of my head than with my "better ventilated" Bell Sweep R. The difference is probably more a result of air velocity rather than air volume though. The effect though is nice. I was slightly skeptical of the helmet, but am very happy with my purchase.
