well treechunk, you were right, tonight i was taking a turn and i hit a bump and my cassette threaded off of the hub and smashed the wheel into the frame, the rest of the bike is fine, minus the axle on the quick release that is thouroughly bent. I'm not sure what i'm going to do to fix this, i might just buy a cog off of a friend now that i have my cassette off.

i'll find some way to fix this for free though, i will.

oh yes and i also just found that i broke a tooth clean off of one of the cogs that ride sometimes.

and upon further investigation i actually broke, what i think is the axle, in half.

this was a good lesson i guess, but i'm going to try and weld it all back together because i'm that stupid.
