I learned about this frameset first hand from one locked up in a rack.
The thought process was: "Woah that's a pretty cool frameset; is it custom?" "Oh it's a cinelli, pretty cool" "ewww MASH, my condolences to the owner's wallet"
$800 is a bit much for Cromor but I suppose this is acceptable when most other bikes have degenerated to no-name hi-ten for the sake of the bottom line.
Not to mention the clearcoated industrial raw look cheats the buyer out of a cool cinelli paintjob.
